Description

Reporting to the Traffic and Grounds Crew Chief, Facilities Supervisor and Operations Manager, the Traffic and Grounds Attendant is responsible for using safe and effective methods in performing their duties, to ensure a high standard of service is provided to Mt Seymour staff and guests alike.

This position is key to the success and day to day smooth running of the resort.

THIS POSITION IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:
You enjoy working outdoors in winter conditions.

You can work in a fast paced and high-volume environment.

You can carry 30lbs approx. of equipment.

You can shovel snow for long periods of time.

You can sustain physical activity for the entirety of your 8hr shift.

You want to share the stoke with our guests and keep the energy high.

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU:

A positive and friendly attitude in all winter weather conditions.

Previous guest facing experience.

Able to be assertive while maintaining a friendly demeanor.

Able to follow direction and work unsupervised.

Able to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment with ability to reason and react with quick, thoughtful judgement.

Flexibility in your schedule during high volume periods of the winter season.

Class 5 (or N) driver's license is mandatory.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Seasonal position, November thru to April.

Hourly wage starting at $18/hour
