Setter Capital is a leading investment banking and brokerage firm in the global private equity fund and venture capital/unicorn secondary market.

From our office in Toronto, we facilitate secondary sales of venture capital/unicorn company and private company stakes, and liquidity/financing solutions for fund managers, between some of the largest and most sophisticated institutional investors in the world, including private equity funds, hedge funds, pension funds and other institutional investor types.

• Sourcing and vetting opportunities from Setter's vast global network, under the guidance of senior professionals
• Assisting in negotiating and securing advisory mandates
• Demonstrated interest in and/or aptitude for investment banking, institutional equity sales, fundraising, or other business development and sophisticated sales/transaction roles, ideally 1 3 years' experience in this space (including internships)
• A strong sense of urgency and a desire to constantly go above and beyond
• Polished communication skills, good team player, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and a willingness to continuously learn and improve one's skill sets
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, demonstrated by academic performance or finance credentials (MBA, B.Comm, Business, Finance graduate)
