Job Summary


RM Sotheby's has a finance business that serves its clients to assist in facilitating transactions for both public auction and private treaty sales.

It also serves clients who have an established collection of cars, and wish to maintain them, but obtain some liquidity.

As a member of the RM Financial Services Team, you would be responsible to:


Responsibilities

  • Work with the RMFS team and car specialists to maximize profits on every loan
  • Creation of term Sheets for all loan inquires
  • Following the process from term sheet to completion with loan documents
  • Assist in facilitating all loanrelated documents, and backup, and work with legal to ensure compliance
  • Ensures that the information on the loan contracts (taxes, signatures, vehicle description, etc.) is accurate
  • Researching and answering questions regarding account status
  • Track the loan book at all banks, including those in Europe
  • Track and do the biweekly reporting on the loan book of both RMFS and partner
  • Produce all the monthend statements for clients to pay monthly interest
  • Work with Legal on tracking of filing liens on titles, filing of UCC1 and other matters relating to establishing and securing the loan book of RM Financial Services
  • Follow up with clients on collections of interest payments, track loan extension dates, loan due dates

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or economics (or equivalent)
  • Ability to analyze and present numerical data in tables, spreadsheets, and forms
  • Knowledge of accepted accounting rules and reporting requirements
  • Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
