Sales/estimator - Bolton, Canada - SCPHR
Description
Reporting to the Sales Lead, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:_ Customer Service:
_
- Interact with new/existing customers answering questions on pricing, quotes, deliveries, stock availability, product features, retail locations, product mix, and from company website
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding order details, pricing, status, and challenges
- Provide troubleshooting for product installation, and technical support
- Source out noncompany products, ensuring accurate pricing information is quoted externally and captured on purchase orders for customer order
- Handle all customer service inquiries and interactions until resolution
- Stay abreast of all new production offerings
- Act as resource for the Outside Sales Representatives
_Order Management:
_
- Accept requests from customers while monitoring stock levels when placing the order
- Convert purchase order information and pricing into SAP and provide to procurement
- Prepare quotes/estimates for customers based on incoming requests
- Maintain databases with documentation for purchase orders and shipments made to customers
- Business development activities, including cold calling and following up on previous estimates
- 3+ years in Customer Service/Sales, ideally within the fencing industry
- Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration is an asset
- Basic knowledge of reading product blueprints
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong computer skills
- Experience using SAP is an asset
- Strong math skills
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with customers
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Time management with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- High attention to detail
- Highly organized, with a high level of accuracy and thoroughness
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems effectively
