What will your responsibilities be?

As a tester, you'll be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the quality of video game and related software translations, checking the quality of the language used in various texts and audio files on different media.
  • Enter all spelling, grammar, syntax, punctuation and translation errors into our database.
  • Suggest an appropriate and suitable correction to provide the excellent translation quality sought by our customers.
  • Identify any inconsistencies in the story, lack of context, inappropriate terminology, etc.
  • Ensure that content is well adapted to the language, culture (e.g. cultural references) and European Portuguese market.
  • Report these tasks using an evaluation sheet and/or checklist to your Test Lead.

Job requirements:


  • Deep knowledge of Portuguese (European) culture and language.
  • Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand texts of varying complexity in English.
  • Experience in translation or localization an asset.
  • Be available AT LEAST three (3) days per week.

Skills:


  • Detailoriented.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Rigorous and autonomous.
  • Comfortable using IT tools (Excel, Google Sheets and Google Drive).

Quelles seront vos responsabilités ?
