Your challenge- Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Supervisor, the Continuous Improvement Advisor's mission is to put his or her expertise to work in the implementation of corporate continuous improvement initiatives leading to organizational changes and company growth.

You therefore collaborate on various continuous improvement projects by leading working sessions and meetings with key operational stakeholders and process owners to generate discussions on current practices and identify opportunities for improvement.

In addition, you must engage stakeholders in finding sustainable solutions to support Cascades' continuous improvement objectives and culture.

As a result, you help maximize the company's operational efficiency by ensuring practices and processes' consistency necessary for its sustainability.

  • Ensure liaison among all stakeholders on the various projects.
  • Provide context for global challenges and propose solutions tailored to the different stakeholders of the company.

  • Assist managers in the deployment of continuous improvement projects.
  • Help develop and implement lean manufacturing tools.
  • Assist managers in identifying and analyzing operational and administrative problems related to business processes.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations.
  • Support and guide teams in the deployment of projects.
  • Help resolve problems.
  • Facilitate meetings and share information with the teams and the group.
  • Support teams in achieving objectives.
  • Ensure buyin from the various strategic units.
  • Deliver continuous improvement training.
  • Experiences and strengths
  • Excellent knowledge of process mapping methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of recognized process management and continuous improvement methods and of problemsolving tools.
  • Ability to learn and intellectual curiosity to understand Cascades' value chain and processes.
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Constant desire to improve the efficiency and quality of services.
  • High level of adaptability
  • Ability to create conditions for change.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
