Description
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for unloading and loading trucks and placing materials onto extended-reach racking. The warehouse associate also assists in the breakdown of arriving shipments and the building of outbound shipments.

Salary
- $22.00/hour

Working hours

  • 8 am4 pm, 34 days/week (potential to go fulltime)
Location

  • North York (Dufferin and Steeles)

Responsibilities

  • Operate electrical extendedreach forklift and normalreach forklifts.
  • Unload and load trucks
  • Assist in the documentation of shipments
  • Counting, weighing, sorting, packing, and unpacking products of various sizes to make sure shipments are safe
  • Keeping an inventory of products in the warehouse and making sure everything is in the correct place and ordered if needed
  • Receiving and processing POs
  • Follow all company and legislated health and safety requirements
  • Participate in all training as required
  • Perform general labourer functions as required
  • Pickup and deliver materials using a company vehicle
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • Valid forklift certification (Raymond Reach) is reqired
  • 23 years experience in a warehouse environment
  • G License
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg (50 lbs)
  • Motivated, selfstarter
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Reliable, dependable and self motivated
