Sheridan Nurseries Aurora is actively searching for a:

Permanent, Full Time

The Home Décor Sales Supervisor will be responsible for driving sales and ordering products within the Home Décor Category at the store level, in addition to overseeing the upkeep and standards of excellence for the Home Décor department.

This includes seasonal patio and outdoor living accessories, fashion, boutique,Christmas décor,everlasting plants,and giftware.
Provide leadership and direction to all Home Décor Sales Associates.
Be familiar with, and actively strive to achieve, store and Home Décor Category sales targets.

Oversee Home Décor Category inventory at the store level, ensuring quality standards are met while minimizing scrap, shrink, and aged inventory.

Submit supplemental orders that allow for inventory levels to be maintained for maximum sales while also ensuring that inventory targets are met at year-end.

Oversee seasonal changeovers of Home Décor Category product in accordance with Store and Company directives.

Collaborate with warehouse and receiving staff to ensure that all incoming Home Décor product shipments have been accurately verified, priced, and are readied for display on the sales floor.

Actively seek to increase knowledge base of all product offerings within the Home Décor Category and be familiar with other department categories across the store.

Work in conjunction with Store Management and the Joint Health & Safety Committee to ensure a safe work environment for all through active observations, hazard reporting, coaching on relevant health and safety best practices, and leading by example.

Existing knowledge base of Home Décor Category product – including seasonal patio and outdoor living accessories, fashion, boutique,Christmas décor,everlasting plants,and giftware – with an ability and commitment to learn and develop.

Previous experience in retail sales.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
