    JOB PURPOSE:

    This individual will be responsible and accountable for leading the marketing team of a multi-indication biologic at GSK. This includes leading the strategic & operational plans for current indications, as well as launch planning for future indications. In this role, you will partner closely with cross functional teams to ensure excellence in deployment of operational plans & excellence in salesforce tactical implementation. You will lead the cross functional team to ensure excellence in brand launch execution of future indications, and ongoing brand success.

    RESPONSIBILTIES:

  • Demonstrate an agile mindset, strong collaboration, and an appetite for ongoing learning
  • Brand planning and execution of strategic & operational plans with associated customer facing plans (sales, access), key performance indicators, financial and supply forecasts & performance optimization processes as required.
  • Ensure demand forecasts are up to date within GMS planning assumption
  • Lead projects/programs with input from and collaboration with internal cross-functional team and external partners (Internal projects, Sales, Agency, MOC and PAAB)
  • Provide ongoing analysis/conclusions of market forces that have potential to impact business and action plans to address near-term opportunities and threats
  • Lead launch planning of future pipeline within the identified portfolio
  • Monitor risk management plans and execute mitigation strategies as needed
  • Develop and mentor product managers
  • Contribute to innovative strategies, tactics, programs, and processes to grow the business
  • Complete assigned responsibilities in the annual brand business review process including market opportunity analysis, strategy/vision development, and budget/tactical plan development and implementation
  • Provide ongoing analysis/conclusions of market forces that have potential to impact business and scenarios/action plans to address near to mid-term opportunities and threats
  • Lead business meetings with internal partners (including Global teams) and roll-out of tactical initiatives
  • Develop and nurture direct customer relationships to deepen understanding of patient journey and develop meaningful, patient focused value offerings
  • Work closely with training partners and sales leadership to ensure appropriate focus on analytics, competitive selling skillset development and objective setting
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the GSK narrative to make appropriate trade off decisions that will positively impact the overall business
  • Contribute to patient safety by reporting, in a timely manner, all adverse events identified during the interactions with customers in accordance with internal policies and training, including any follow up information received.
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in specialty care marketing/commercial roles
  • Excellent communication and customer engagement skills
  • Ability to motivate, influence and lead peers and others
