Description

Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair sheet metal products and equipment according to specifications and building codes
  • Measure, cut, bend, shape, and fasten sheet metal using various tools and equipment
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
  • Inspect and test installed systems and equipment to ensure proper functioning
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to coordinate work activities

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, caulking, blueprint reading, concrete finishing, concrete forming, cabinet installation, construction estimating, masonry, and tile laying
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment related to sheet metal work
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
