    What You'll Do

    • Assist with complex business acquisitions and divestitures (share, asset and hybrid transactions)
    • Assist with simple to complex commercial lending/borrowing files
    • Draft and review various documents and correspondence including contracts, agreements and leases
    • Prepare transaction closing documents
    • Manage files and closings for various transactions including preparing reports and invoices
    • Manage lawyer calendars including scheduling meetings and coordinating workflow
    • Other ad hoc duties as needed

    What You Bring

    • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, with a focus on corporate-commercial and commercial lending
    • Paralegal Certificate from an accredited post-secondary education is required
    • Familiarity with LTO and PPR documents, registrations and procedures
    • Great organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
    • Fantastic time management skills for juggling competing priorities in a high-volume and fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
