As Resident Manager Team you will be responsible for the basic regular maintenance of the self-storage facility including, but not limited to, the grass cutting, care of gardens, snow removal, and other duties as assigned.
This team will care for after-hours security of the site and respond to after-hours issues.The team will also be required to work in the office on a rotating schedule along with other members of the team, which includes alternating weekends.
Facility Maintenance and Security duties:
- Ensure that all assigned areas are cleaned to the expected standard.
- Follow daily, weekly, monthly and annual processes as assigned.
- Maintain exterior buildings cleanliness and esthetics.
- Maintain a security log of afterhours activity; communicate with head office or management when necessary.
- Perform office duties in accordance with the Customer Service Representative job description.
- Remove snow and ensure safe access to main walkways and entrances.
- Report any damages, deficiencies or abnormal activities witnessed by you, to management.
- Maintain organization of electronic and physical records.
- Request training on any procedures or equipment you are unfamiliar with.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
Daily Office duties:
- Provide customers with assistance in accessing their units and other needs within reason.
- Use solutionbased selling techniques to grow customer base.
- Maintain ongoing customer service relationships to further customer loyalty.
- Remove snow and ensure safe access to main walkways and entrances.
- Report any damages, deficiencies or abnormal activities witnessed by you, to your supervisor.
- Maintain organization of electronic and physical records.
- Request training on any procedures or equipment you are unfamiliar with.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
Specific Requirements:
Clean criminal background check
- Ability to lift, carry and push up to 50 lbs
- 23 years in a a customer service or facilty maintenance role.
