Supply Chain Intern
There's a New Energy on Board Our company MHI RJ Aviation Group (MHIRJ) provides comprehensive critical operational, engineering and customer support solutions including maintenance, refurbishment, technical publications, marketing and sales activities for the global regional aircraft industry. MHIRJ is seeking an Intern, Supply Chain who is smart, curious and loves the challenge of solving problems that improve people's lives. You'll collaborate with a fun and close-knit agile team.
In your role, you will:
- Participate in the development of the product family through the development and execution of business plans for new and existing programs;
- Develop and have a complete understanding of the market for the relevant product family;
- Have a solid understanding of suppliers' capabilities, market positioning and strategies;
- Identify, analyze and materialize the possibilities of cost optimization;
- Negotiate contracts, business requests, product changes and contract amendments;
- Ensure contracts are maintained in accordance with our business requirements;
- Plan and analyze needs and provide recommendations to internal stakeholders using governance tools and reporting tools (eg: KPI: Key Performance Indicator).
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate, you
- are ongoing Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Business Administration;
- are eager to learn more and willing to apply academic knowledge in a business environment;
- possess excellent people skills and motivation;
- have excellent communication skills in French and English, both written and spoken;
- have good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Position Details:
• Location : Hybrid, remote working as well as located in Missisauga, Ontario
