Description

Responsibilities:

  • Operate snow plow equipment to clear, parking lots, and other designated areas
  • Remove snow and ice from surfaces using hand tools and power tools
  • Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snowfall or icy conditions
  • Follow designated routes and schedules for snow removal
  • Ensure safe operation of snow plow equipment and adherence to traffic laws
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience operating snow plow equipment is preferred
  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques, including irrigation and garden care
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in snow removal
  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on equipment
  • Ability to work in cold weather conditions for extended periods of time
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Class G Licence (preferred)
