Description
Our client is hiring directly for a Quality Technician in Brampton that has experience with Metal Fabrication.

12-8pm Monday - Friday

\*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*:


  • Inspection of raw material and purchased components to ensure they meet control plan requirements.
  • Inspection of first offs to ensure they meet print / control plan requirements.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • High school diploma or GED; or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to operate the Faro and laser QC (write functional programs), as required.
  • Ability to complete gauge calibration, CT and DLT certification.
  • Ability to complete ISIR/PPAP data and shipments of parts.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and documents such as safety rules, operating andmaintenance instructions, and procedures manual.
  • Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)

Salary:
Up to $27.62 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • QA/QC: 1 year (required)
  • Blueprint reading: 1 year (required)
