Our client is hiring directly for a Quality Technician in Brampton that has experience with Metal Fabrication.12-8pm Monday - Friday
\*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*:
- Inspection of raw material and purchased components to ensure they meet control plan requirements.
- Inspection of first offs to ensure they meet print / control plan requirements.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma or GED; or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to operate the Faro and laser QC (write functional programs), as required.
- Ability to complete gauge calibration, CT and DLT certification.
- Ability to complete ISIR/PPAP data and shipments of parts.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and documents such as safety rules, operating andmaintenance instructions, and procedures manual.
- Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
Salary:
Up to $27.62 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Brampton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- QA/QC: 1 year (required)
- Blueprint reading: 1 year (required)
