    Role Summary
    Olympia Financial Group is looking for an Quality Assurance Test Analyst to join our IT team.

    Your primary role is to test our internal business applications and customer facing websites along with improving our Testing Process.

    You must be able to work with our QA Team Lead, peer developers and business sponsors to deliver a quality solution to our business stakeholders.

    You will be supporting Olympia's in-house application development by writing test cases and testing/reporting defects.
    As the ideal candidate, you must be able to deliver results in a dynamic and team oriented environment.

    You must able to multitask and able to thrive in an ever-changing environment, build relationships naturally, adapt quickly, and communicate effectively.

    Role Responsibilities
    Perform functional testing, GUI testing, Tracking defects, as well as troubleshooting issues
    Collaborate with business analysts and developers to create and execute software test cases
    Assist with design documentation, configuration management and software deployment
    Assist in deployment processes by reviewing tickets for deployment, doing pull requests, working with leadership to authorize the deployment
    Submit and track defects for resolution by software developers
    Provide support to internal users via phone, e-mail and on occasion through meetings
    Identify, diagnose, report, and assist developers in resolving defects and verifying bug fixes
    Provide clear, concise, documentation to support end users
    Decipher and translate business logic into test plans on VSTS

    Experience and Skills
    College and or University Degree in Computer Science or comparable Quality Assurance experience (1+ year)
    Good understanding of, and experience with, virtualization. Understanding of cloud computing infrastructure basics (Visual Studio, Azure) is a plus
    Training and experience with Product Acceptance Testing
    Training and experience with testing documentation (Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Reports, Change Requests)
    Training and / or experience with managing / logging incidents reports
    Experience with Selenium RC and Selenium Web Driver
    Understanding of Web and Application Services
    Successful completion of a Criminal Background check will be required
    Preferred Skills
    Experience using Test Driven Development
    Experience with Telerik and Telerik Test Studio
    An understanding of database fundamentals, TSQL and/or equivalent database experience
    Exposure to the agile development methodology, iterative development and testing
    Continuous Integration, Code Promotion and Deployment
    Financial applications experience an asset
    C# and JavaScript programming knowledge is a plus
