Description

• Install and repair roofs using various types of shingles
• Measure and cut shingles to fit specific areas of the roof
• Lay out roofing materials in an organized manner
• Remove old or damaged shingles and replace them with new ones
• Install underlayment and other protective layers on the roof
• Ensure that all work is done according to safety standards and building codes
• Clean up debris and maintain a clean work area

• Previous experience as a shingler or in a similar roofing position
• Knowledge of different types of shingles and roofing materials
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and cuts
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work on roofs for extended periods of time
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver's license preferred
