Qualifications:
Education:
- Minimum 2 years postsecondary education with preference given to graduates from a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Program or Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering Technology Diploma. Instrumentation Tech or Red Seal Electrician with Planning Experience also considered.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of electrical experience in industrial manufacturing environment;
- P.Eng certification would be considered as an asset;
- Working Knowledge of ETAP or similar, AutoCAD; and MS Project;
- Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization and leadership skills are essential. (verbal/written);
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office;
- Experience working in a unionized environment;
- Knowledge of SAP definite asset.
- Ability to work as a member of a team with mínimal supervision;
- Strong time management, organizational, multitasking and problemsolving skills are required;
- Experience with planning systems; annual shutdown;
- Flexible and ability to adapt to changing priorities;
- Past Pulp & Paper Supervisory and/or Management experience would be considered an asset.
