All of our classes are small, and we have a team of talented and experienced educational assistants who work alongside our teachers in the classroom.
With a strong, supportive leadership team and a dedicated Learning Resource Department, we work hard to set both our students and staff up for success.

We are seeking an Educational Assistant who can support our diverse students and inspire them to overcome challenges. We want an individual who values the education of the whole child as much as academic success.
What would the job entail?
Our Educational Assistants work collaboratively as part of the Learning Services Department.
Educational Assistants work within the classroom environment to support the teacher during instruction, as well as with small-groups or individual students with diverse learning needs as required.
Nurture students' academic, social and emotional growth;Provide support to a small class of students;
Work with individual or small groups of students to support their learning;
Review IEPs and support teachers with IEP student goals and strategies;
Use and integrate technology to support teaching and learning;
Supervise students during breaks (recess/lunch);
Assist with the setup, use and organization of learning resources;
Reinforce behavioural expectations in the classroom;
Promote and support the mission, vision and values of the school;
Participate in department meetings, staff meetings and professional development workshops;
Qualifications:
What you have to have:
Diploma, coursework or qualification relating to one of the following:
Teaching
Educational Assistance
Special Education
Learning Support
Experience working with diverse learners
Experience supporting students in Grades 4-8
Ability to support learners working between Grade 4-10 level Mathematics
What we would love:
Teaching certification with the British Columbia Teacher Regulation Branch
Experience working with Gifted learners
Independent School experience
