Brant Industrial Roll, a TF Warren company, is a leader in rubber and polyurethane roll covers based in Brantford. We are currently looking for an afternoon shift lathe operator to join our growing team

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Uses a lathe to remove old rubber and polyurethane from the roll core
Operates a forklift and overhead crane to move materials to the lathe
Assists co-workers as needed and maintains a clean work area
Promotes a safe work environment and a positive attitude
Compliant with health and safety and quality procedures

Essential Qualifications:
Lathe experience would be an asset
Knowledge and safe use of overhead crane is an asset
Tow motor license or recent in-house training is an asset
Experienced and comfortable working in an industrial facility
Knowledgeable of health and safety legislation and safe work practices

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand & walk continuously for 4 hours at a time
Ability to operate a forklift an asset
Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs

Afternoon shift - Must be willing and able to work Monday to Thursday 3 pm to 1 am

Salary:
$22.00-$28.00 per hour
