Line Cook - Kanata, Canada - Baton Rouge Steakhouse and Bar Kanata

We are a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant and need someone who can keep up with our demanding kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook highquality menu items to order, ensuring that all food is prepared to our exacting standards for taste, presentation, and consistency.
- Work with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with the executive chef to develop new menu items, and to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of our food service operations.
- Support the kitchen team in various tasks as needed, including but not limited to inventory management, equipment maintenance, and dishwashing.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a line cook in a fastpaced, highvolume restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A passion for food and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
