Our commitment to environmental stewardship drives our operations, and we are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate loaders and excavators proficiently to build compost piles and wind rows.
- Move materials daily using the loader and manage compost moisture levels with a water truck.
- Assist ground personnel with tasks such as picking plastic, flipping tarps, and moving pipes.
- Utilize the excavator to flip compost material as necessary.
- Familiarity with shredders and screeners for compost processing.
- Maintain a selfmotivated and driven approach to work.
Requirements:
- Experience operating loaders and excavators.
- Possession of Air Endorsement.
- Mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills.
- Willingness to assist ground crew with various tasks.
- Reliable transportation and a working cell phone.
- Selfmotivated and able to work independently.
- Valid driver's license.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Fulltime position with yearround work.
- Starting wage ranging from $25 to $30 per hour, depending on experience.
- Benefits available after a 3month probationary period.
- Winter schedule: 8hour days, 5 days a week.
- Spring, summer, and fall schedule: 812 hour days, 56 days a week.
Salary:
$25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
