Nature and Scope:


The Inside Sales Representative will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality pre-sales technical support to our outside sales team and to our valued customers.

This dynamic Inside Sales Representative will collaborate closely with clients, qualifying sales opportunities, swiftly addressing technical challenges that may arise during the sales process, assisting clients in defining specifications and requirements, and effectively presenting technical information to audiences of varying sizes.

Additionally, the Inside Sales Representative leads the training of sales representatives on Arrow's technologies and products.

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining overall customer satisfaction and relationships, while meeting or exceeding sales and profitability targets.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Responsively addresses sales and customer inquiries, both virtually and inperson.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, understanding their needs to expeditiously address any concerns
  • Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Compile technical data to prepare and present proposals to potential clients.
  • Identify and procure technologies to support and solution customer requirements.
  • Review Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to formulate appropriate responses.
  • Develops pricing strategies to align with business growth objectives.
  • Conducts technical training and provide guidance to sales representatives and management.
  • Offer comprehensive customer support throughout the postsale process until resolution.
  • Ensures the accuracy of technical content in all customer orders.
  • Designs customer technical solutions with the creation of engineering diagrams, drawings, and specifications.
  • Articulates and highlights technical advantages of Arrow's products and services.
  • Identifies sales opportunities and offers recommendations to enhance business growth.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:


  • Over 3+ years of experience in the Hydraulic industry, with a background in a related technical sales support role.
  • Prefer to have a degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Demonstrates exceptional written and oral communication skills, coupled with proficiency in computer usage.
  • Possesses strong onsite problemsolving capabilities, especially under time constraints.
  • Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of the global Hydraulic landscape.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
  • Proven selfstarting ability, taking initiative and thriving in a team environment.
  • Track record of successfully managing multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Exemplary organizational skills and effective time management planning.
  • Understanding of the sales cycle and expertise in the solution selling process.
  • Proactive communication style, ensuring timely project updates to sales representatives and customers.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills, with a keen ability to comprehend specific customer requirements related to Arrow's products and services.
  • Proficient in translating customer needs into specific deliverable requirements.
  • Skilled in extracting hidden or unrealized customer requirements and obtaining consensus on these needs.
  • Creative synthesis of solutions within the defined scope and limitations of Arrow's products and services once all requirements have been discovered.
