CIMS Limited Partnership is in search of an
organized problem solver who can
effectively implement, mentor, and
guide all facets of project management within the
BC region for the position of
Project Manager.


As a
Project Manager at
CIMS LP, you will play a vital role in contributing to
CIMS's success by
overseeing all aspects of project management for assignments within the
BC region. Your responsibilities will include ensuring safe project delivery, completing tasks correctly the first time, adhering to schedules, and managing budgets effectively.

Additionally, you will mentor aspiring project managers and coordinators, guiding them on best practices, customer relations management, and company expectations.

Reporting to the
Regional Vice President, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Directing, coordinating, implementing, and successfully completing projects while ensuring alignment with CIMS' strategy and objectives.
  • Supporting and advancing CIMS' culture, values, and business strategy.
  • Supervising and managing all daily project endeavours.
  • Ensuring project performance meets safety, quality, and cost efficiency standards.
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree or Technical School certification (including Trade Certification) in a relevant discipline or equivalent educational background.
  • 25 years of progressive experience in Heavy Industry Turnaround Maintenance, Daily PM Maintenance, or related fields.
  • Experience in project management, project controls, budgeting/financing, critical path analysis, risk assessment, negotiating, planning, cost estimating, cost/benefit analysis, scheduling, and planning is desirable.
  • Familiarity with HS&E (Health, Safety & Environment) and quality control legislation, requirements, and systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership and teambuilding capabilities, with the ability to work effectively within crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and engage with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Proven ability to focus on both longterm strategic growth goals and shortterm tactical objectives.
