This role is eligible for hybrid - this means you'll have the flexibility of working from home and in the office (Regina Head Office) on a scheduled rotation once probation and training requirements have been met.

Until then, the successful incumbent will be expected to work on-site, full-time.


GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY


The Broker Business Administrator is responsible for the administration and operational support of the partnerships between Regional Business Development and brokers.

The position also provides operational support to business line areas for digital operations and digital initiatives that support Regional and Corporate Business Development.

The Broker Business Administrator provides operational support for broker training, broker websites, and broker compensation programs; analyses and interprets eService submissions and Broker Loan data; and is responsible for regional and corporate monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.

The position assists with the administration of the broker agreement and dissemination of information to brokers in all regions.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Corporate Business Development Administration- Provides support to Regional and Corporate Business Development management as it relates to brokers' books of business, contracts, and communications with brokers.- Analyzes and prepares requests for information and distribution for all regions (e.g., claims activity reporting, portfolio transfers).- Interprets and analyzes data from various reports and provides detailed written reports.- Coordinates the administration and management of the Broker Agreement for brokers.- Maintains broker files and record retention.- Administers the setup of Broker portal web IDs to provide brokers access to the Commercial Quoter and Commercial Express software.- Transfers books of business (highly sensitive and complex) between brokers.- Responsible for regional and corporate monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting (e.g., broker PW PIF, loan activity, training, RRSP).- Primary contact for broker management system rules and processes. Administers and monitors the Broker RRSP program, Broker Loan Program, and various broker compensation programs and special agreements.- Recommends improvements to applied standards and practices for broker management processes and procedures.- Maintains and coordinates content, including the testing of the content placed on broker portals (e.g., contact information, online library of current rate manuals, forms, wording booklets, and brochures). Ensures that broker accreditation hours for broker training are recorded accurately and certificates are distributed to participants.- Coordinates and manages registration and broker accreditation logistics for the annual broker convention and other broker-facing events.- Maintains the online SGI CANADA University course library, broker training calendar, and courses available on the broker portals.- Maintains and administers the internal Corporate Business Development broker-facing event calendar.- Coordinates and maintains broker training events, including registration, survey, assembly of broker packages, and communications.- Develops and maintains processes and procedures related to all administration for Corporate Business Development governance and audit purposes.- Monitors and provides oversight to clerical staff, including delegating, reviewing, and approving quality of work (e.g., ensure procedures are followed relating to portfolio transfers, contract administration, and electronic broker files).- Performs all monthly reconciliations (e.g., fuel card, P-card) and related reporting for the department.- Develops and maintains technical and descriptive documentation, manuals, and templates.


Digital Services- Works with Regional Business Development and brokers to identify, document, and resolve pain points in the use of digital solutions and pursues opportunities to make improvements.- Facilitates certification processes to ensure partners' use of digital services aligns to documented standards for connectivity, security, authentication, data transfer, and accuracy.- Supports the delivery of new technology by communicating/translating business decisions to IT delivery teams (internal and external).- Provides technical support to Regional Business Development and brokers for supported digital capabilities.- Monitors, assesses, and reports on the usage of corporate digital solutions.
