is currently looking to hire a Fire Extinguisher Technician for our
Edmonton, Alberta branch The Fire Extinguisher Technician will oversee the extinguisher servicing and parts/material supplies within the branch.

Responsibilities:

Inspect, repair, test, dismantle, and clean Fire Extinguishers using hand tools, hydrostatic test equipment and monitoring devices
Hydrotest high pressure cylinders.
Service various different fire extinguishers (e.g. ABC, BC and CO2)

Minimum Qualifications:

Portable Extinguisher Certification (Provincial Standard
Alberta)
High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent required
Electronics or fire systems knowledge considered a strong asset
Experience in fire suppression and kitchen hood experience considered a strong asset
Ability to lift 55 lbs
Competent with the use of computers.
Strong customer relations skills
Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.
