Summary


DeafBlind Ontario Services is seeking Bingo Volunteers to represent the charity in a customer service role during 2-2.5 hour long shifts at Bingo World located in Richmond Hill.

Through our partnership with Bingo World and with the help of Bingo Volunteers, we raise awareness and funds that benefit the people supported who are Deaf, hard of hearing, non-verbal and deafblind.


Duties Include:


  • Greeting, answer questions, make patrons feel welcome
  • Clear and wipe down tables and surfaces at the gaming centre
  • Be able to stand or walk for 2.5 hour shift
  • Follow policies and procedures including following uniform guidelines, timely attendance for each shift, log book signin and out.

Other Details:

- $75 honorarium provided per shift

  • Up to two shifts per month on Saturday afternoons
  • Online training provided as well as shadowing session
  • All volunteers must be fully vaccinated against COVID19
