- Analyze financial data and use financial models for forecasting.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with budget.
- Support the FP&A Manager to prepare near-term and long-term financial forecasts.
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on the overall company's performance on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with functional departments and business leaders across the company to build and enhance reporting needs as necessary.
- Play a key role in updating and maintaining UGE's corporate-level forecast consolidation.
- Strong financial modeling skills.
- Comfortable with the double-entry principle of accounting.
- Knowledge of SQL is a plus.
- Experience with NetSuite an asset.
- 2+ years of experience in financial modeling and financial analysis, project financing, investment banking, or M&A is highly preferred.
- Very strong attention to detail.
- Excellent Excel and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including email communication

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or any relevant field.

UGE develops, owns, and operates community and commercial solar and energy storage projects, primarily in the United States. With over a decade of experience in the industry, we are on the front lines, working to accelerate the transition to clean, reliable energy.
Our team is growing quickly, and we seek a talented and motivated individual to join our FP&A team.
This role will be hybrid for candidates in the Toronto area.
Reporting Relationships
This role will be the primary point person responsible for the periodic update of the project models. The right candidate will report to the FP&A Manager and work closely with the CFO and other members of the finance and development team.
