Day Shift - 8am - 4:30pm - Monday to Friday


Responsibilities may include:


  • Work with Value Stream Leader, engineering, production, purchasing and service department, in coordinating and planning material flow
  • Plan and schedule material processes according to production schedule
  • Design fixtures, tools and material handling devices
  • Design layout of equiopment, materials and work spaces to illustrate maximum efficiency
- maintain reports for Value Stream Leaders and Managers

  • Monitor the production plan and investigate / resolve any potential material issues in a timely fashion
  • Analyze root causes and systems, including MRP, Kanban and Heijunka to improve material consistency
  • Coordinate with Value Stream Leaders in planning and implementing engineering change notice's (ECN's) in production lines
  • Plan inventory management processes to avoid shortages

Skills and Experience:


  • Materials Management, Supply Chain Logistics, or Operations & Production Planning & Control Experiences an asset
  • HIgh level of skill with Solidworks and AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365, MRP Systems and Microsoft Office expereince an asset
  • Comprehensive understanding of drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment, challenging demands and able to deal with frequent hange and delays
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance
  • Detail oriented, precise, and efficient problem solving & time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with active listening
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of individuals and disciplines
  • A desire to learn and take initiative to always improve
