Description

Day Shift - 8am - 4:30pm - Monday to Friday

Responsibilities may include:

Work with Value Stream Leader, engineering, production, purchasing and service department, in coordinating and planning material flow
Plan and schedule material processes according to production schedule
Design fixtures, tools and material handling devices
Design layout of equiopment, materials and work spaces to illustrate maximum efficiency

- maintain reports for Value Stream Leaders and Managers

Monitor the production plan and investigate / resolve any potential material issues in a timely fashion
Analyze root causes and systems, including MRP, Kanban and Heijunka to improve material consistency
Coordinate with Value Stream Leaders in planning and implementing engineering change notice's (ECN's) in production lines
Plan inventory management processes to avoid shortages

Skills and Experience:

Materials Management, Supply Chain Logistics, or Operations & Production Planning & Control Experiences an asset
HIgh level of skill with Solidworks and AutoCAD
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365, MRP Systems and Microsoft Office expereince an asset
Comprehensive understanding of drawings, specifications, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
Must be able to adapt to a changing work environment, challenging demands and able to deal with frequent hange and delays
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance
Detail oriented, precise, and efficient problem solving & time management skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with active listening
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse groups of individuals and disciplines
A desire to learn and take initiative to always improve
