About Us:

The Program Operations division is responsible for ensuring seamless delivery of programs.

This includes ensuring that faculty, staff, and students are aware of processes and procedures through clear and timely communication, and superior administrative support.


The Program Coordinator, Exams and While You Work (WYW) Programs is one of five Program coordinators within the Program Operations division, and the only coordinator whose role oversees exam scheduling, processes and procedures.

S/he is also responsible, in conjunction with the While You Work Program coordinator, for providing administrative support to the faculty and students of the WYW programs.


Responsibilities:


The Program Coordinator is part of the Program Operations team at the Ivey Business School and is responsible for the planning, administration, and seamless functioning and delivery of all exams across a multitude of programs within the Business School, including HBA1, HBA2, MSc, MBA, AMBA, and MM.

Additionally, the Program Coordinator is responsible for the administration and delivery of a number of While You Work (WYW) programs.

This encompasses a spectrum of responsibilities revolving around the full-time, WYW programs hosted at the Toronto and London campuses, specifically tailored for individuals who are concurrently pursuing their careers while furthering their education.

The main focus of this role is on three core programs:
the Executive MBA (EMBA), Accelerated MBA (AMBA), and Master in Management (MMA) degrees.


Qualifications:


Education:


  • 3 year university degree in Business/Administration or a related field
  • Courses taken in accounting preferred

Experience:


  • 4 years experience providing financial and administrative support and customer service; preferably in an academic environment
  • Experience coordinating logistics of specialized programs/services/events; preferably in an academic environment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to ensure expenditures and resources are within allotments, and to make appropriate modifications as required
  • Ability to explain financial information, policies and procedures effectively to individuals who may have little financial knowledge
  • Verbal communication skills to clearly express ideas in an objective manner, and adapt communication style to suit the situation and audience
  • Demonstrated ability take initiative, to work independently and follow through on work assignments
  • Competency to maintain confidentiality and treat sensitive information with discretion
  • Ability to establish rapport with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and resolve external and internal partner issues
  • Ability to maintain a positive, outgoing attitude with genuine customer service orientation
  • Ability to process information with a high degree of accuracy, and follow formal business practices with high attention to detail
