Organized - and attentive to the details, using excellent planning and time management skills to ensure timely product ordering, then utilizing the appropriate paperwork and WMS software to accurately document all product as it is shipped out of and received in to the store.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Customer Service

  • Provide "best in class" customer service according to MB standards listening actively and communicating in a straightforward manner to build rapport with each guest, learning their names as well as those of their family & pets, and consistently exceeding their expectations through excellence in service and follow up. Conclude each customer interaction with a carryout of product or load up at the dock, maintaining and verifying accuracy throughout
  • Utilize high level conflict resolution skills to identify, address, and resolve any and all customer concerns or situations in which an MB Country Living customer may not be fully satisfied
  • Offer "best in class" quality of presentation through maintaining MB standards of cleanliness in the warehouse and on the sales floor ensuring execution on the daily cleaning, dusting, and more as directed by the Store Manager and modelling for your team that cleaning and tidying is a task that happens in down time throughout the day, every day

Job Knowledge

  • Responsible to ensure all warehouse functions and activities are performed in accordance with MB procedures and objectives, coordinating and organizing all shipping, receiving, deliveries, etc., exceeding customer expectations in the process

-Actively work with product - able to lift and carry 25kg without restriction, maximize selling opportunities through stocking, replenishing, rotating, assembling, displaying (including price labelling) and merchandising as per MB guidelines

  • Take ownership of the inventory of the entire building: managing any inventory investigations, cycle counts and regular expiry checks & follow up action (i.e. reductions) to ensure waste is kept to a minimum
  • Monitor incoming shipments, keeping stock of inventory and ordering to replenish when necessary; paying attention to selling patterns in order to ensure your store is appropriately stocked with the necessary product without risking expiration
  • Manage the store in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Act as the lead advocate of all MB Country Living standards, routines, processes and changes: including price changes, standard equipment maintenance & checks and all others as directed

General Requirements

  • Ability to lift 25kg repeatedly without restriction
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory management, and customer service.
  • A clean driver's abstract is required must attend full count inventories in multiple locations
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule required to work 50% of Saturdays in a year (priority on April-May spring rush) and a combination of opens/closes
  • Excellent skills in: attention to detail, organization, planning, time management, communication
