HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS & SUITES in Milton, Ontario immediately as a Front Desk Agent.
Full time and Part Time available

The Job Description includes but not limited to: - Operate Property Management Software (OPERA), PBX, Front Desk duties, ie Check-ins and Check-outs, shift check lists, cash management

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Balancing Daily Reports
  • Support and assist the Guest Services department to provide 100% guest satisfaction by:
  • Perform GSA functions such as check in and check out of guests.
  • Track occupancy numbers of competitive set hotels.
  • Problemsolving guests concerns or proactively exceeding guest expectations.
  • Provide guests with current information about the Hotel rooms, amenities, services and local attractions.
  • Demonstrates and supports.
  • Respond promptly to all guest requests and employees and informing managers of maintenance deficiencies, guest concerns or service issues.
  • Ensure the work environment is tidy and well organized at all times (lobby).
  • Review Night Audit and Front Desk Logbooks.
  • Ensure 100% Guest Satisfaction; handle guest concerns with effective followup.
  • Review and balance all credit cards
  • Print accounting & sales reports.
  • Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and standards.
  • Be able to execute all Fire and Emergency procedures.
  • Confidentiality & discretion must be assured in all interactions.
  • Maintain the appropriate personal appearance and hygiene while on duty, including uniform and name badge
  • Other duties as required and assigned

Requirements:


Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent would be an asset: - Excellent communication skills in English. - Must possess excellent computer skills and an ability to work under pressure at times. - Must possess excellent time management and multitasking skills. - Must possess excellent customer service skills: friendly, welcoming and professional at all times - Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and owners in a professional manner. - Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administration skills. - Ability to work within and meet deadlines. Proven ability to manager multi-tasked assignments. - Demonstrated knowledge of guest service and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations. - Present a high degree of professional work ethic and image. - Diploma/Degree in Tourism or Hospitality an asset. - Must be able to work evening overnight shifts which will include weekends and holidays

Up to $15.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
