    As a Business Operations Analyst with Facilities, you will ensure assets are effectively analyzed and reported in accordance with guidelines and Facilities processes. Assets include buildings, equipment, furniture, land and machinery. Primary duties include:

  • Draft and update processes, including internal controls by performing quality control checks on data, identifying discrepancies, reviewing current and best practices, assessing risk and recommending changes that will ensure compliance with guidelines, City practices and systems.
  • Perform duties associated with the addition, adjustment, disposal, transfer and retirement of assets and provide information to various parties, including those who prepare operational and capital budgets.
  • Liaise with internal and external partners to identify operational trends and provide support and leadership.
  • Collaborate with Facilities divisions to analyze and optimize efficient and effective reporting practices.
  • Qualifications
  • A completed 2 year diploma and at least 5 years of relevant experience, OR;
  • A degree and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Experience with project management and business analysis is required.
  • The ability to build and foster effective cross-functional relationships with other teams.
  • Success in this position requires the following competencies: strong communication and customer service skills, critical thinking, well developed facilitation skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail.
