Contributes to the overall success of the Digital Banking in Canada ensuring specific goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.

Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.


Is this role right for you?

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Leads backlog grooming sessions for multiple products and creates user stories which engineering team can build.
  • Define clear outcomes and goals for each initiative with associated KPIs/Metrics to ensure success and alignment with the overall vision and strategy; define the "What" and the "Why" as part of problem discovery.
  • Performs handson manual QAT for the products built
  • Coordinates the monthly/biweekly product releases and publishes release notes to partners ensuring all key stakeholders are kept informed of the changes in a release.
  • Effectively manage relationships with business lines and support areas in order to identify/respond and understand their ongoing needs and ensure that the judicious direction aligns with the direction for Scotia Digital.
  • Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daytoday activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of daytoday business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good time management and organization skills in order to coordinate multiple projects in a timely fashion
  • A recognized undergraduate degree in business along with 4 to 6 years of practical experience is recommended
