Warehouse Manager - Mont-royal, Canada - Bensus

Description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
• Ensure efficient and accurate inventory management
• Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to optimize productivity and efficiency
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order processing and delivery
• Monitor and maintain warehouse safety standards and compliance with regulations
• Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory levels, shipments, and orders
• Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy
• Plan and execute physical inventory counts as required

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes and best practices
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate forklifts or other material handling equipment
• Experience with order fulfillment processes, including picking, packing, and shipping
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), Computer literate
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs or fabrication if necessary
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Experience in warehouse operations

Salary:
From $42,000.00 per year

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Class 5 Licence (required)
