- Sandblasts structural steel
- Cleans and prepares skids and material for painting
- Operates and maintains sandblasting equipment
- Moves fabricated materials to designated areas
- Performs daily maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
- Cleans skids/material for shipping
- Inspects final product, ensuring conformance to specifications
- Performs rigging techniques as per industry standards
- Operates forklift and overhead cranes to transfer skids and packages throughout shop
- Ensures housekeeping is completed daily in assigned area
- Complies with standards and procedures of the PTW health and safety manual and Occupational Health and Safety regulation
- 2 years sandblasting experience in an industrial capacity an asset
- Previous experience with rigging and operating overhead cranes
- Valid Forklift Certification is an asset
- Overhead Crane certification is an asset
- Must have own transportation as facility is not accessible by public transit.
- Must have CSA approved safety boots
