ABOUT THE ROLE
Palliser Furniture Ltd. is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to fill the permanent role of Maintenance Technician.

Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
Performs and assist a wide variety of general maintenance activity in preventive, corrective and predictive.
Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery and parts replacement as necessary.
Duties may involve to electrical, PLC controls, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining; carpentry, welding, plumbing, installing, aligning, and other related maintenance jobs.
Support continuous improvement initiatives project implementation, 5s, tools control and spare parts inventories.
Moves and assists in moving furniture and equipment at various facilities/sites; sets up and breaks. down office
Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work sites.
Willing to perform related tasks as required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Completion of a three

- to four-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over five years of work experience and industry courses in industrial machinery repair or millwrighting is usually required.

With more than 5 years experience in CNC automation maintenance, programming and basic operation.
HVAC and compressor skills.
Industrial sewing machine mechanic skills.
Excellent in technical and nontechnical problemsolving analysis.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to the building trades
Proficiency in reading and writing English
Ability to communicate with internal and external contacts both verbally and in writing
