Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to support our pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will assist with medication dispensing, inventory management, and patient interactions within a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role offers an opportunity to grow within the healthcare field while contributing to the well-being of our patients.
Duties
- Assist licensed pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, checking expiration dates, and placing orders for supplies
- Prepare prescription labels and ensure proper documentation for medication distribution
- Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing insurance claims
- Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to safety and cleanliness standards
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth medication administration processes
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Compassionate approach to patient care and customer service
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of pharmacy software systems is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
