Job Summary


We are a manufacturing supplier to the window and door industry seeking a dynamic individual for Order Entry / Customer Service Representative.

We are looking for someone who likes a challenging, fast-paced manufacturing environment, where they will communicate regularly with internal and external customers to ensure that everyone receives the best standards of customer care.


Summary of essential job functions:


  • Process incoming customer Purchase Orders
  • Review orders for accuracy and completion
  • Attend daily production meetings for manufacturing, purchasing, and shipping updates
  • Communicate with sales team regarding customer requirements as needed
  • Assist walk in customers with placing orders and processing COD payments
  • Review daily Order Report to expedite shipments and contact customers to arrange pickup of materials
  • Invoice shipped goods daily
  • Initiate Customer Complaint process and manage customer expectations
  • Process credit card machine nightly
  • Support outside sales team by entering and sending quotes to potential opportunities and other tasks as required

Qualifications and Skills:


  • 2 yrs+ Manufacturing experience required
  • 2 yrs+ customer service experience and data entry experience required
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required
  • Experience with ERP/ Data Entry software required
  • College Diploma Preferred
  • Proficient in the English Language essential, Bilingual preferred (French)
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work as a team player in a fast paced environment

Job Duties:


  • Answer incoming customer inquiries
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and teams to stay updated on new products, services, and policies
  • Record and modify customer information within the database
  • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
  • Other duties as requested
