    Enbridge is seeking a Field Operator to join our outstanding team in Fort McMurray

    What you will do:

    • Complete batch pigging of pipelines.
    • Lead and Assist with L.O.T.O.s (lock out tag out)
    • Performs Central Area duties such as draining water from secondary containment, sign maintenance around facilities, vegetation control, snow removal, required checks on equipment and maintains log.
    • Completes general housekeeping duties of the Terminal building, sample shacks, Instrumentation buildings, yard, and measurement equipment.
    • Support local maintenance and operations staff (Technicians, Pipeline Maintenance, Truck Terminal, Gaugers.)
    • Utilize Maximo for closing off Preventative Maintenance items.
    • Complete annual performance objectives as set by regional management.
    • Administrative – complete all timesheets, expense reports, vehicle odometer reports, and mileage tax reports. Safe Work Permit and Hazard Assessment requirements.
    • Perform Facility Inspections and Audits.

    Who you are:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent GED with 3 plus years direct training and experience preferred.
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with strong communication skills.
    • Valid Class 5 drivers' license.
    • Machinery and mechanical aptitude are an asset.
    • You will be required to undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to 5-year driving record, criminal check, company sponsored medical and drug testing.

    Working Conditions:

    • Field work 70%, Laboratory 10%, Office duties 20%
    • Shift Schedule: 12 hours; day and night rotation; including weekends to cover 24/7 operations.
    • Work requires frequent exposure to adverse weather conditions and exposure to wear protective equipment to prevent a serious or lost time injury.
    • The working of overtime hours is required at times to ensure job objectives are fulfilled.
    • Provide coverage for other staff on vacation, training, or other absences.
