Brockton School is a nondenominational coeducational Junior Kindergarten to Grade 12, independent school, located in North Vancouver, British Columbia. As an IB World School, Brockton offers the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, Career Programme, and Diploma Programme.

Early Childhood Educator - On Call Position
- Brockton School is currently seeking a certified Early Childhood Educator
- On Call, to help us in our mission to inspire the growth of outstanding humans.
- Qualifications: At least one of the following certifications:
- Early Childhood Educators Certificate (ECE).
- Requirements:
- o Experience working directly with young children an asset;
- o Passionate about learning and growing as an educator;
- o Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively;
- o Excellent communication skills;
- o Flexible and innovative when approaching challenges;
- o Highly organized;
- o Strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assist in the implementation of the daily program and instructional activities;
- o Provide thorough and active supervision of students at all times and developmentally appropriate behavioural guidance;
- o Participate in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment;
- o Supervise outdoor play, snack, rest, and meal times;
- o Lead and implement before - and/or after-school programming for students in Junior Kindergarten to Grade 5;
- o Maintain confidentiality about children, their families, and other employees inside and outside of the school;
- o Follow directions given by leadership;
- Other duties as needed.
