Job Title: Accident Benefits Claims Specialist

The role of the Accident Benefits Claims Specialist is to oversee and handle automobile, long haul trucking, motorcycle, and recreational vehicle claims. These claims are typically of low to moderate complexity and severity.

This position requires a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills who can excel in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all claims are properly investigated, evaluated, and resolved in a timely manner.

• Investigate claim details over the telephone,
  
• Process new claims by conducting thorough investigations,
  
• Evaluate entitlement to benefits,
  
• Facilitate coverage delivery while maintaining superior customer service standards,
  
• Prioritize insurers/loss transfer/WSIB requirements

Skills required include post-secondary education or equivalent experience accompanied by CIP designation work towards establishing minimum 2 years handling casualty insurance claim essentials organizational decision making problem-solving skillset crossing reference understanding practices policies
