Automation Assembly Technician.

Responsibilities:

Assembly of Festo mechanical actuators
Assembly of Festo Pneumatic Air Prep units
Assembly and wiring of basic control interfaces and boxes
Safe operation of Rittal Perforex CNC Machine
Using AutoCAD software to interpret, modify and create drawings
Mount and cut enclosures according to drawing specifications

What to expect in your first month:

Get to know you team, office and warehouse.
Attend and be provided Festo training to provide product knowledge and ability to assemble actuators and air prep as per order requirements.
Attend intensive machine training in Mississauga for the Rittal Perforex.
Learn how to safely operate the Perforex machine for various types of cut outs and materials.

Requirements:

A desire to learn and continue to grow.
A post secondary education of mechanical or electrical technician.
Knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
