Position Summary:

Millwright or Machinist


Location:

Summary Pump Mechanic / Machinist:
Assembly and disassembly of various types of pumps. Performs all work in accordance with established quality & safety procedures.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning, preparing equipment for assembly
  • Painting, pump disassembly and assembly.
  • Ability to read machining blueprints and understand tolerances.
  • Use of drills, grinders, drill press, presses, lathes.
  • Properly use, read and maintain precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and veneers.
  • Follow ISO 9001 Quality Program,
  • Adhere to ITT Environmental, Safety and Health guidelines.

Position Requirements:

Education:


  • High School Diploma, mechanically inclined.
  • Machining or Millwright apprentices preferred.

  • Some experience in the repair of mechanical equipment
  • Personable.
  • Willing to learn and grow.
  • A team player.
  • Shows initiative.
