The Medical Radiation Technologist II (MRT) will provide advanced clinical services which may include work in a specialized area and/or coordination of an assigned program area.

This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:
Graduate of a recognized Medical Radiation Technologist program or recognized equivalent required Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) required

Additional Required Qualifications:

Completion of CTIC (full scope of CT) or equivalent experience. Ability to work independently in high stress clinical situations. Excellent communication and comprehension skills are required. Excellent patient care and applied health clinical skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Five years of recent full scope of CT experience in a acute care hospital.
