About the role:
Our healthcare systems lead for Quebec will support 9 million Quebecers.
As a member of the Value Access team in Quebec, you will be responsible to understand and keep track of current information regarding drug reimbursement process, drug policy and regulations, and the consequences for Novartis.
You will also be responsible of providing technical expertise on the provincial healthcare system and strategic insights from key stakeholders, and for leading the implementation of system-wide policy initiatives for Novartis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and keep track of current information regarding drug reimbursement process, drug policy and regulations, and the consequences for Novartis.
- Serve as an expert of the Québec Healthcare system and be able to identify partnership and collaboration opportunities in accordance with key account management principles.
- Assist the head of Patient Access & Healthcare System Partnership, Quebec, in developing the provincial plan.
- Get support from key influencers and stakeholders for the reimbursement of Novartis brands.
- Work crossfunctionally with Sales, Marketing, Medical, CE&E to provide expertise on drug reimbursement issues and their interdependence with the pCPA, the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board (PMPRB), and the Common Drug Review (CDR)
- Manage the implementation of our products on RAMQ drug lists in collaboration with the internal team and pricing.
- Act as a participant and influencer on Innovative Medicines Canada Access committee, as appropriate
- Serve as the single point of contact, map and establish management strategies for key accounts, with a view to building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Quebec healthcare system such as, but not limited to:
- Cancer agencies
- CIUSSS (Integrated University Health and Social Services Centres)
- Health agencies
- FMGs
- Major clinics
- Professional associations
- Pharmacy banners and associations
- Academic institutions and faculties

Role Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- University degree in business, economics or life sciences with 8 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including direct experience with healthcare system administrators, payers or healthcare providers.
- Thorough understanding of healthcare systems or policies related to their access
- Knowledge of the Canadian pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement environment
- Demonstrated experience in managing key accounts and a stakeholderoriented approach
- Experience in converting "business" needs into policy positions, and in identifying business opportunities from customer insights
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and operational acumen
- French (mandatory)
- Skills in delivering effective presentations, as well as written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Requirements:

- Bilingual: English and French
