The HR Shared Services Branch is accountable for all employee enquiries and coordination of administrative services for the PSC.

Within the HR Services Branch, the Employee Services team provides self-service and Tier 1 support to all employees, triaging tier 2 and 3 inquiries to HR Business Partners, Pay and Benefits and Centres of Expertise based on complexity and risk.

The Corporate Administration team manages the day to day office operations of the PSC's corporate and satellite offices.


Conditions of Employment:

  • Must provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Records Check, additional security checks may be required for some positions
  • Must be able to work overtime as required

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Postsecondary education in the area of business administration, creative communications, project management, computer sciences or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
  • Strong digital communication skills, including experience managing and creating website content for diverse audiences
  • Design experience including material development both written and electronic including: reports, website content and other public facing materials
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with staff, clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to write clearly and concisely for a variety of audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with demonstrated problemsolving, decision making and analytical skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to plan, balance and manage multiple projects simultaneously while achieving highquality results
  • Demonstrated ability to work well independently and take initiative
  • Well developed political acumen and interpersonal skills to foster positive collaboration and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Desired:

  • Experience leading or participating on project teams or committees spanning divisions or departments

Duties:


The Self Service Coordinator is responsible to ensure that employees have access to user-friendly and easy-to-understand employee self-service options, whether through the intranet, chat bot or other self-service tools.

This role will be the primary point of contact between Employee Services and the Centres of Expertise when it comes to the development and maintenance of content using a consistent voice and brand.
