Johnston Meier Insurance Agencies Group has an exciting opportunity for ambitious and proactive
Business Development Insurance Sales Agents at our Maple Ridge Office.
Responsibilities
- Research, identify and pursue new business opportunities within small/mediumsized businesses
- Reach out to client leads through cold calling
- Create value and trust with prospects by identifying their insurance needs.
- Present, promote and generate sales of insurance products that meet the needs of prospective clients
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive client relationships
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients
- Build client portfolios

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
- Minimum General Insurance Level 1 Salesperson License
- Sales focused, selfmotivated and proactive
- Selfstarter with strong prospecting skills and comfortable with cold calling
- Ability to convert leads into sales
- Determined and eager to learn with a positive approach and openness to feedback
- Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service
- Flexible in job duties and/or hours, as necessary
- Basic computer skills
