MiLo Group is looking to add Plumbers of all levels to our team Hiring for long-term commercial projects around Vancouver, Delta, Richmond, Burnaby, Surrey, Langley, Port Coquitlam, Maple Ridge, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Kelowna, and Kamloops We are looking for individuals with great organization, time management, attention to detail, initiative, and a "team player" attitude

MiLo Group is a locally owned and operated business based in Red Deer, Alberta which has been in business since 2002.

Proudly serving Western Canada providing Electrical and Mechanical services including, HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, Gas fitting, Boilers, and Hydronic Heating, offering design, installation, fabrication, and service.

MiLo Group is a full-service contractor offering services in Commercial Construction, Agricultural, Multi-Family, Hospitality, and Institutional sectors.


With our Red Seal qualified tradespeople in our electrical and mechanical divisions, including estimators and project managers, we have over 90 combined years of experience and are always looking to grow our team in and out of the field.


Responsibilities and Skills include but are not limited to:


Journeyman:


  • Ability to interpret blueprints and follow codes
  • Ability to plan for efficient use of apprentices.
  • Ability to foresee material requirements for efficiency.
  • Ability to react calmly to required onsite changes
  • Working in a fastpaced environment
  • Foreman/lead hand skills and experience is an asset
  • Ability to foresee interference with other trades
  • Boiler and furnace troubleshooting/repair
  • Agricultural and rural service considered an asset
  • HVAC experience considered an asset
  • Willing to travel

Apprentices:


  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Working at heights
  • Willing to travel
  • Owns some personal hand tools

Education & Tickets:


  • Red Seal Plumbing & Gas Certificated (required for Journeyman)
  • Currently registered as an Apprentice an asset
  • WHIMIS (preferred)
  • CSTS (preferred)
  • Fall Protection (preferred)
  • MEWP/Aerial Platform (preferred)
  • First Aid (preferred)

Salary:
$20.00-$45.00 per hour
