DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and participate in discovery calls and RFQ with leads received for Print Services - Quoting in-house capabilities and outsourced services
- Needsbased approach to recommending solutions
- Liaise with manager and/or team lead for special customers, volume pricing etc, highvalue quotes and key accounts
- Work with manager to coordinate outsourced services (manufacturing and/or post processing) to external service providers o Management of outsourced services that are part of larger projects sold by Javelin
- Postsale project and order management:
- Immediate task updates & daily status updates in PM software; liaise with project managers for daily upates
- Machine operation, support removal, part cleaning
- Perform and/or outsource finishing and postprocessing on customer & inhouse projects; bonding, sanding, painting, hardware installation, advanced finishing processes
- Part inspection & other QC tasks
- Liaise with Customer Support team to coordinate order fulfillment and shipping
- Warehouse and material management; liaise with manager/team lead to ensure ample stock of all required consumables
- Contribute to customer relations and communication for key customer accounts
- Ensure all jobs are tracking as quoted by overseeing adherence to standard procedures and workflows; minimize waste and increase profitability.
- Contribute to compilation of AMS resources; design guides, best practices, standard operating procedure etc
- Directly responsible for cleanliness of shop; general housekeeping, other duties as required
- Assist with daily, weekly, monthly machine maintenance as prescribed by Team Lead/Manager
- Degree or diploma in: Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technologist, Mechanical or related fields
- 23 years in related field preferred (coop placements qualify)
- Key hard skills include:
- Manufacturing and/or Engineering experience an asset.
- Familiarity with hosted CRM systems; NetSuite experience an asset
- Familiarity with AM technologies an asset
- Key soft skills include:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Handson approach, "roll up your sleeves" attitude
- Professionalism is essential, understanding of outward presentation to clients a must
- Ability to multitask and independently prioritize tasks is essential to success in this role
- Excellent troubleshooter and problem solver
